YouTube, Meta, TikTok and radio
Each service depends on your repertoire being eligible and the rights being clear.
YouTube Content ID
We deliver references with your audio, and music videos where useful, so user uploads that use your recordings can be claimed and monetised.
Claims and disputes
When two rights holders claim the same recording, we work through the conflict and answer disputes with the information you provide.
YouTube channel management
Through our partner network: channel integration, consulting and strategy, monetisation, and help with claims on your own channel.
Official Artist Channel
We help you request an Official Artist Channel so your music and videos sit together under one profile.
Meta and TikTok
Rights management for your music when it appears in user content on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Neighbouring rights
We connect you with Lime Blue Music to collect royalties when your recordings are broadcast or played in public.
Money from radio, TV and public play
Every time a recording is played on the radio, on TV or in a shop, bar or venue, the owner of the recording and its performers are owed a royalty. These are neighbouring rights. They are collected by societies in each country and are separate from streaming income and songwriting royalties.
We partner with Lime Blue Music, the London-based independent neighbouring rights agent, to collect these royalties worldwide through 160 international agreements with collection societies.
- Registration and claiming at source
- Counterclaims where others claim your recordings
- Discovery of missing royalties
Rights questions
All questionsWhy was my video claimed?
A Content ID claim means the system matched audio in your video with a registered reference. If the recording is yours or licensed to you, tell us and we will review the claim.
What are neighbouring rights?
Royalties owed to recording owners and performers when a recording is broadcast or played in public. They are separate from streaming income and songwriting royalties.
Do I need my own YouTube channel?
No. Content ID works on uploads by other users. A channel helps if you want to publish videos and request an Official Artist Channel.
Does Content ID prove that I own a recording?
No. Content ID and audio recognition find matches. Ownership is shown by your contracts and licences.
How do I start collecting neighbouring rights?
Tell us about your catalogue. If it fits, we introduce you to Lime Blue Music, who handle registration and collection under their own terms.
